The tumultuous year for the Sean Miller and the Arizona basketball program continued with the arrest of Jesse Perry. The senior forward turned himself in to Tuscon authorities on Friday, where he was charged with domestic violence aggravated assault stemming from an incident earlier in the week which resulted in a female being treated for injuries at the hospital. It appears the athletic department helped find Perry so he could turn himself in to the police. The University released a statement acknowledging the arrest:
Arizona’s Jesse Perry Arrested, Charged With Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault
Arizona senior Jesse Perry was arrested and charged with domestic violence, stemming from and incident which resulted in a female being hospitalized.

“The Department of Athletics, the President and the Dean of Students office are fully aware of the situation. This matter is in police hands and we will fully cooperate and assist them as needed. At this point we will have no further comment.”
Perry’s arrest is the latest in a set of off-the-court incidents surrounding the Wildcats’ hoops program. While the senior has finished his playing days for Miller, it’s certainly a black eye for a program which has experienced multiple transfers and suspensions.
