After a drama-filled Sunday afternoon of hockey, the 2012 NHL Playoffs pick up again Monday night with two more elimination games. The No. 1 seed New York Rangers are on the brink of elimination, traveling into hostile territory against the Ottawa Senators. The Sens are riding their hot goaltender, Craig Anderson, who's won two straight games and stopped 41 shots in a 2-0 shutout of the Rangers on Friday.
NHL Playoff Schedule 2012: Blackhawks And Rangers Try To Stave Off Elimination
The elimination week continues on Monday when the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers try to even their series in Game 6.


The second game on Friday will feature the Chicago Blackhawks, looking to even up their series with the Phoenix Coyotes after falling into a 3-1 hole against the West's No.3 seed. It has been an intensely even series, with the first five games going to overtime. After two brutal overtime losses at home, the Hawks finally got a game winner in Game 5 from their captain Jonathan Toews. After allowing a couple of soft overtime goals, Chicago goaltender Corey Crawford was solid in Game 5. Phoenix will look to kick-start the offense again and finish off the series in Chicago, where they have not lost.
