It is biting at the lowest of low-hanging fruit to criticize fans — the ones not in this picture from MLB.com’s Jane Lee — for not spending their money and time to see mediocre teams in person. Instead, consider asking the converse: shouldn’t professional sports organizations try to put together teams that are impossible for fans to miss seeing in person?
