The Denver Broncos continue to shore up their secondary during the 2012 offseason, announcing Thursday that they have signed veteran cornerback Drayton Florence. The former San Diego Chargers and Buffalo Bills defensive back has played nine seasons in the league, and was a target for several teams in free agency after his surprising release by the Bills.
Drayton Florence, Broncos Agree To 2-Year Contract
Veteran cornerback Drayton Florence signed a two-year contract with the Denver Broncos, who continue to add depth to their defensive backfield this offseason.

Florence visited the Broncos last week and then visited with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday. He left Nashville without a deal, however, and agreed to terms with Denver just two days later. According to Adam Schefter, Florence's deal is a two-year contract worth $4.5 million. Via @AdamSchefter:

Florence had three interceptions with the Bills last year, pushing his career total to 17. In Denver, he'll join former Saints corner Tracy Porter, another veteran defensive back added by the Broncos this offseason in free agency.
