I’ve read so many books about the New York Yankees that I might never read another. Which didn’t keep me from enjoying Slate’s side-by-side comparison of two new Yankee books (one of which gets bonus points for its Bruce McCall cover, and more bonus points for its healthy dollops of profanity).

↵p.s. Marty Appel’s a grand fellow and I’m sure his book is quite lovely, especially if you love the Yankees.
