The struggling Mark Reynolds, who recently had his first breakout series of the season against the Red Sox, is headed to the disabled list with a strained oblique.

Reynolds was hitting below .200 this season, with just two homers in 89 at-bats. He had started to show signs of breaking out of his early season slump, with six RBIs during Baltimore's three-game sweep of the Red Sox last weekend. Steve Tolleson will start at third base on Saturday night as the O's continue to battle the Rays for first place in the AL East. The Orioles also recently signed Bill Hall and brought back Miguel Tejada, who's currently working in extended Spring Training in Sarasota. Both could be potential options at third, along with Tolleson.
