Bryce Harper may be a good influence on his Washington Nationals teammates after all.
Stephen Strasburg Hits First Career Home Run
On Sunday, Stephen Strasburg hit his first career home run. It’s a beautiful thing when a pitcher hits a homer.

Just a week or so after Harper got his first major league home runs under his belt, the other resident young phenom on the Nationals has gone yard. Starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg launched his first career home run to the bullpen in left field on Sunday in an interleague game against the Baltimore Orioles. It wasn't a cheapie, either, flying over the 377 foot marker and nearly making it to the bleachers beyond the bullpen.
You can see the dinger yourself in the below video. Behold the awkward and unsure home run trot of someone who never realized he was going to need a home run trot before. Ever seen someone look completely confused while running the bases following a home run? You’re about to!
