The Devils and Flyers series moves up the road to the Prudential Center in Newark on Thursday night, with New Jersey looking to take a 2-1 lead. Coming off a seven-game series with the Panthers, the Devils turned around and took the Flyers, who enjoyed a week off, all the way to overtime in Game 1 and then convincingly rolled to a 4-1 win in Game 2 on Tuesday night.

The Devils may also get a big boost from Ilya Kovalchuk, who's likely to return for Game 3 after sitting out Game 2 with what is now being reported as a herniated disk. The Russian is one of the top offensive weapons for the Devils, who have had success against Philadelphia goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov through the first two games and can take the series lead on Thursday night.
