2012 College World Series Bracket: UCLA, Florida State Square Off Tuesday

One side of the 2012 College World Series bracket lost the nation’s top team on Tuesday. The other side could lose the Sunshine State’s other team in Omaha on Wednesday.

Kent State eliminated national No. 1 Florida on Monday in a dramatic 5-4 victory. For their trouble, the Golden Flashes will play South Carolina, which had its 22-game postseason and 12-game College World Series winning streaks snapped by Arkansas, on Wednesday.

The top half of the bracket will eliminate either Florida State or UCLA on Tuesday. The Seminoles and Bruins meet in an elimination game at 8 p.m. Eastern. The winner of that game will meet Arizona on Thursday.
