John Danks hasn’t started a game for the White Sox since May 19, as he’s been on the disabled list with shoulder discomfort. At first, he had a chance of making it back in the minimum. Then he needed a brief rehab assignment. Then he revealed he was still feeling some shoulder discomfort. Danks got himself examined, and now here we are. Scott Merkin:
Danks is still feeling shoulder discomfort because he has a tear in his shoulder. The good news for him and the White Sox is that he won’t need to go under the knife, but this is obviously a setback. There’s presently no timetable for his return. Rotoworld guesses that Danks is out until at least just after the All-Star break, and, there, now if Danks is somehow back before the All-Star break, it’s Rotoworld who lied to you, not me.
