Jarrod Parker’s No-Hit Bid Ends In 8th

Young broke up the no-hitter, but he probably didn’t break A’s manager Bob Melvin’s heart. Parker entered the eighth inning having thrown 107 pitches, about seven more than you think the A’s would like to see their prized youngster throw.
