In devastating news for Napoli fans, Partenopei cult hero Ezequiel Lavezzi has officially moved on from Serie A, joining the burgeoning revolution in Paris Saint-Germain. PSG fans, however, ought to the thrilled - they've just acquired a top-class counterattacking winger in his prime. He didn't come cheap, however. With Napoli reluctant to sell one of their stars, the 27-year-old's €30M buyout clause had to be activated in order for PSG to land him, and Lavezzi has now been signed to a four-year contract on what are presumably rather high weekly wages. He'll be wearing the number 11 shirt with his new club.
Paris Saint-Germain Sign Ezequiel Lavezzi
Ezequiel Lavezzi has left Napoli and is heading for a big payday and Champions League football in Paris.

Paris Saint-Germain now have what looks like a very dangerous attack, but Napoli's famous trident is now missing one of its key components. Without Lavezzi, Walter Mazzarri's system has been essentially nonfunctional, and it'll be interesting to see whether Napoli bring in a replacement or just start a total rebuild. If it's the second, elite teams from around Europe will be queuing up to acquire the likes of Edinson Cavani and Marek Hamsik.
