↵A’s catcher Derek Norris hit a grounder to the right of Jeter, who had been off most of the day before entering in the ninth for defense.↵Derek Jeter was a defensive replacement on Sunday. Without looking, I’m going to guess it’s because the Yankees were scared about Phil Hughes hurting himself on a double play. Because that’s who was playing shortstop before Jeter, right? Right?
