The Baltimore Ravens played the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night in the preseason opener for both teams. Baltimore was able to pick up a solid 31-17 win, but the victory didn't come without casualties. At least Ravens players are dealing with injuries after the game and could be out for a few weeks.

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Ravens head coach John Harbaugh appeared on a postgame show and ran down a short list of injuries. Wide receiver Torrey Smith suffered an ankle sprain, tight end Ed Dickson has a subluxed shoulder, and cornerback Chykie Brown is dealing with a hamstring issue. All of these injuries will take some time to work through. Harbaugh gave "a few weeks" as a rough estimate.

Smith will likely be viewed as the biggest loss in the short term. The wideout had a strong rookie season in 2011 and is hoping to improve on that success this year. All three players could still be back in time for the regular season.
