VIDEO: French Announcers Call Last Lap Of NASCAR Watkins Glen Race

Want to see the finish of Sunday’s thrilling Watkins Glen NASCAR race through the eyes of French broadcasters? Oui!

I didn’t understand a word of this video – aside from maybe the drivers’ names and “photo finish” – but you don’t have to speak French to get an idea of what’s happening.

Marcos Ambrose beat Brad Keselowski on the last lap of the Finger Lakes 355, a result which came after Keselowski and race leader Kyle Busch made contact following the white flag. It was easily the best finish of the season, and maybe of the past several seasons. The Ambrose/Keselowski battle might be the road course version of Ricky Craven vs. Kurt Busch at Darlington.

Anyway, it was exciting to hear the English version on ESPN, but these French dudes take it to another level. Magnifique!
