Season Dead, Marlins Canceled

Showtime's pulling the plug on its hard-hitting documentary about the Miami Marlins. From The Palm Beach Post:

↵↵The original plan called for eight weekly episodes, starting July 11. But the Marlins have endured such a trying season that the team will end its run on Showtime this Wednesday — its seventh weekly episode — instead of Aug. 29.

↵↵I haven’t been watching the show. But couldn’t one more episode of a train wreck have been just as interesting as the first seven?
