Meme Watch: Maurice Jones-Drew Misses The Train

On Tuesday, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan addressed the situation surrounding his star running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who is still holding out of preseason practices in hopes of a new contract. Khan said to the Florida Times-Union that the "train is leaving the station. Run, get on it." The people who "ran with it"? Jags fans. Now we've got a full-blown meme on our hands.

The first brilliant Photoshopped creation to pop up was courtesy of the Jacksonville Jags Tumblr and boy howdy is it ever a beauty.

Glorious.

Others soon followed. Like this one, from Timothy Bowers.

And this one, from Randy Dewey.

A bit closer to the SB Nation homefront, Big Cat Country’s own BBS made this little beauty.

Perhaps the best part? Jones-Drew himself favorited one of the creations on his personal Twitter feed. Namely, this image which was originally created by Casey Ayers:

Keep these train memes rolling, Jags fans! This is the best thing to come from the team in years!
