Chris Davis hit three home runs and the Baltimore Orioles maintained pace in the American League wild card race with a 6-4 win against Toronto.
Chris Davis Hits 3 Home Runs In 6-4 Win
Chris Davis hit three home runs Friday, making some MLB history in the process.

Davis homered in each of his first three at-bats, before striking out in his final plate appearance. He finished the game 3-4 with four RBI. Earlier this season, Davis recorded a win while pitching in an extra inning game. That win, combined with his three homer game Friday, put him in rare company. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Davis joined Babe Ruth and Jim Tobin as the only players in MLB history to record a three home run game and a win in the same season.
Zach Britton allowed two runs over 6 2/3 innings while striking out six to pick up his third win of the season. With the win, Baltimore remains tied for the second American League wild card spot with Oakland, who also won Friday.
