Giovani dos Santos' nightmare at Tottenham Hotspur is over. The Mexican international is moving to Mallorca on a four-year deal that he hopes will rejuvenate his career.

Giovani dos Santos will try to revive his club career with Mallorca after getting away from Tottenham.
A product of the Barcelona academy, dos Santos moved to Tottenham in 2008 as one of the brighter young talents in Europe. He was expected to blossom at Spurs, but he never fit in at the club and quickly fell out of favor. While he did play exceptionally well for Mexico, he rarely saw the field for Tottenham and was loaned out to Ipswich Town in 2009, Galatasaray in 2010 and Racing Santander in 2011.
dos Santos has not hid his frustration with Spurs, trying to make a permanent move away from White Hart Lane in the last several transfer windows. When he couldn’t, his agent spoke out against Spurs and chairman Daniel Levy for making a move too hard for dos Santos, but now he has his fresh start.
Mallorca are off to a good start this season, with a win over Espanyol and a draw against Malaga to their name already. dos Santos will give them another creative and dynamic player, who should be full of energy now that he has the new club he's tried to hard to get.
Mexico will also be happy about dos Santos' move. They depend on dos Santos to play underneath Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez with Andres Guardado and Pablo Barrera out wide and while he has played well for El Tri despite not playing regularly for his club, that regular playing should only make him better.
