Yoenis Cespedes Suffers Right Wrist Sprain
Oakland Athletics outfielder Yoenis Cespedes suffered a right wrist injury Friday.

Cespedes was lifted from the game during the eighth inning when Michael Taylor pinch-hit for him. Up to that point, Cespedes was 2-for-3 in the game with a run scored.
The injury bug is nothing new for Cespedes, who has battled thumb, hamstring and hand injuries this season. He went on the 15-day disabled list in May due to a left hand strain. Cespedes has played in 74 of Oakland’s 106 games this season.
When he has been healthy, Cespedes has been very good in his MLB rookie season. He leads the Athletics in batting average at .310 and RBI with 54. He is also second on the team with 14 home runs.
