Penske Will Use Roush Yates Engines In Switch To Ford

While Roger Penske has vowed to keep his team’s engine shop running next season, it won’t be building Fords.

Roush Yates Engines announced Monday afternoon it will supply Ford FR9 motors to Penske Racing beginning next year for both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series.

↵Penske could still build Dodge engines and sell them to whichever team is aligned with that manufacturer (UPDATE: Actually, USA Today’s Nate Ryan reported Penske isn’t considering building Dodge as an option).
