Things I Wasn’t Expecting to Read This Morning

There was a charity event in Minnesota on Wednesday night, which apparently caused one of the greatest Mad Lib moments in the history of public-relations emails:

↵One of the event highlights was when Billy Crystal and Robin Williams teamed up onstage during the live auction and auctioned off a Glenn Frey- autographed guitar. MLB stars, Pedro Martinez and Sammy Sosa, tried to out bid one another, eventually splitting the guitar for a combined $130,000. They are now proud co-owners↵I could spend 30 minutes writing a fake teleplay based on this, but instead I’ll just mention it and spend that time thinking about Pedro Martinez and Sammy Sosa singing Eagles songs together.
