The Raiders Fumble, Because They’re The Raiders

It's a brand new NFL season and the Oakland Raiders have clearly not lost a step since last year. They wasted absolutely no time in proving they're the Oakland Raiders in front of a rabid home crowd on Monday Night Football. They proved it with a terrible fumble on their very first possession.

On this run, first Rod Streater started fumbling the ball; then he fumbled the ball. With a little help from Melvin Ingram, I suppose.

The Raiders would have the last laugh, as they would go up 3-0 shortly after this. They won’t really have the last laugh, of course. Just the last laugh of the first two possessions. But hey, the Raiders need as many small victories as they can. Baby steps, everyone.

For the latest on all things Chargers, check out Bolts from the Blue. For all things Oakland Raiders, head over to Silver and Black Pride.
