England Vs. Ukraine, 2014 World Cup Qualifying: Game Time And TV Schedule

England vs. Ukraine. Be there. Or be elsewhere.Follow @SBNationSoccer

You might remember England vs. Ukraine from Euro 2012. Or you might not. There are so many possibilities! Anyway, we're going to see that matchup again at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday, and this time it counts for World Cup qualifying. Judging from what Brazil just did to China today and the historical record of European clubs in South American-hosted World Cups, there doesn't seem to be much point in even getting there, but England will want too anyway because the Olympic closing ceremony was embarrassment enough for the next few years.

This is Ukraine's first match in Group H, but England have already gotten off to an absolutely flying start by beating Moldova 5-0 in Chişinău. That means about as much as you'd expect an emphatic away victory in a possibly made-up locale to mean, but three poitns are in the bag, and Roy Hodgson and crew will have every expectation of doubling their early tally on Tuesday.

This is the two sides' fourth meeting in the past three years, with England taking two of the previous three. Neither win has been emphatic, but the Three Lions -- despite the absences of Ashley Cole, John Terry and Theo Walcott -- are clearly the better side, and with home advantage they should win fairly handily. Should rarely means does as far as England are concerned, of course, and after that thumping of Moldova they're primed and ready for a poor result. We'll see how it all plays out.

Date/Time: Tuesday, Sep 11 (8:00 PM BST; 3:00 PM EDT).

Venue: Wembley Stadium, London, England.

TV information: ITV 1 (UK), Fox Soccer Channel (USA).

We’ll have live coverage of every qualifier in our UEFA 2014 World Cup Qualifying StoryStream. For more on the entire world of football, follow @SBNationSoccer on Twitter.
