Bart Scott Is Not A Fan Of Photography

We're getting closer and closer to the first total meltdown of the NFL season. More than a few people have their money on the New York Jets for a spectacular flame out, and the team inched one step closer to chaos Friday when linebacker Bart Scott and reporter Dan Leberfeld of Jets Confidential had to be separated in the team's locker room.

Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post described the scene via Twitter.

Physical threats! Lawsuit threats! It had all the makings of a postmodern showdown. And what triggered this mayhem?

Violence was averted by a quick thinking, possibly suicidal Jets public relations staffer who stepped between the two men.

The Jets travel to Miami this week, favored by no more than three points. You have to wonder if a loss to the team expected to live at the bottom of the AFC East this year could be a match on the haystack that is the 2012 Jets.
