In Day 2 of GIF TOURNAMENT III, we move on to the West region, where legends await us. Vote, and help us decide who makes it to the next round.

Special nomination. Finished second in Week 19 of THIS WEEK IN GIFs with 349 votes.
This wasn’t Ace Sanders’ only appearance in THIS WEEK IN GIFs, but it was certainly the greatest. Let’s list his achievements here:
- Fields punt and briefly swings right before deciding to run right into the teeth of Missouri's special teams unit
- Jukes the Hell out of No. 57
- Runs into his own teammate and plants his feet, almost immediately re-accelerates to full sprint
- Near-simultaneously a) eludes a diving tackle from No. 33, b) breaks a body tackle from No. 1, and c) breaks a leg tackle from No. 97
- Hits the brakes once again to juke out of another diving tackle
- Re-accelerates to full sprint again, finds an angle, and dives into the cone to score
This is one of the most impressive punt returns I’ve ever seen, and this GIF isn’t without its poetry, either. At the end, the GIF collapses into a fit of cheering, as Sanders is blurred by the arms of those standing and cheering. Gorgeous.
