I think we need to consider Philip Rivers for induction to the Animated GIF Hall of Fame at this point, because there were at least three other Rivers GIFs that could have entered this tournament. (The other inductees, if you’re curious, are Shane Victorino, Jack Wilson and Chris Bosh.)
I mean, Hell. The pass is tipped, offensive lineman Jeromey Clary comes up with the ball, and RIVERS WANTS HIM TO THROW IT. And then Clary gets wrapped up, and RIVERS IS STILL MOTIONING FOR HIM TO THROW IT. I hope that after he retires, Rivers coaches a Bible-college team. They could play their home games in the abstract art wing of a Smithsonian, or perhaps the dreams of a slumbering infant, still trying to make sense of the shapes and colors it sees.
