2013 NBA schedule: Nuggets look to keep rolling against Warriors

Denver hosts Golden State on Sunday evening as both teams try to keep pace with the elite teams in the Western Conference.

The Denver Nuggets continue their quest to climb up the standings in the Western Conference when they host the Golden State Warriors at 8 p.m. Sunday evening.

After a slow start to the season buried the Nuggets (22-16) they appear to be gaining some traction. Denver rallied in the second half on Friday to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers for their fourth consecutive win and seventh win in the past seven games.

The recent winning streak pushed the Nuggets past the Houston Rockets into sixth place in the West with Golden State (23-12) now directly in Denver's sights in fifth place. Danilo Gallinari has provided a consistent scoring punch for Denver of late averaging 21 points in the last four wins.

The Warriors beat the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday to bounce back from a pair of disappointing losses to the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies in their previous two games.

Here is the entire NBA schedule for Sunday (all times Eastern):

New Orleans Hornets at New York Knicks, noon

Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors, 1 p.m.

Indiana Pacers at Brooklyn Nets, 6 p.m.

Minnesota Timberwolves at San Antonio Spurs, 7 p.m.

Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets, 8 p.m.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Portland Trail Blazers, 9 p.m.
