2013 Sony Open leaderboard: Russell Henley still leading

The young Georgia native holds a one stroke lead over Charles Howell III, who is making a late push for the tournament lead.

Russell Henley is still in the lead in the final round at the Sony Open, but a charging Charles Howell III has reduced his lead to only a stroke. Henley is 17-under par on the tournament and even through eight holes on Sunday. Howell is 3-under through nine holes and sits at 16-under for the tournament, taking place at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu.

Pat Perez is in third place at 15-under and is also 3-under for the day. He’s tied with Scott Langley, who has dropped two strokes to fall into a tie for third at 15-under, also shared with Tim Clark. Matt Kuchar, Jeff Overton, Marc Leishman, Josh Teater, and Harris English round out the top ten.

If he can hold on, this would be Henley’s first career PGA Tour win. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 and is only making his third appearance at a PGA Tour event.
