Andrew Bogut on Harrison Barnes’ slam: ‘I’m not paying to see Harrison dunk’

Golden State Warriors rookie Harrison Barnes threw down one of the biggest dunks of the season on Monday night. Veteran teammate Andrew Bogut was impressed, but not impressed enough to pay roaming charges in Canada.

TORONTO -- Four notable things took place in last night's game between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors. First, Andrew Bogut made his long-anticipated return to the court after rehabbing from left ankle surgery. Second, Harrison Barnes dunked all over Aaron Gray's existence. Third, Gray exploded for a career high 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting, plus 10 rebounds. Fourth, Stephen Curry tweaked his ankle, but let's pretend that didn't happen.

Let's focus on the first two things because it would take too much time to detail Gray's glorious game and, again, the fourth thing didn't happen. Let's go to the visitors locker room postgame, where a cheerful Bogut commented on Barnes' slam to SB Nation:

"I didn’t see it properly because they wouldn’t show a replay for some reason," Bogut said. "It was crazy. I don’t think he touched the rim, I think he threw it right on him, so I’m kind of excited to get my phone out once I’m off roaming to get on and see that video.

"I’m not paying to see Harrison dunk. I’ll tell you that right now."

Tough times in Toronto for Bogut -- he couldn't wear an undershirt outside, he couldn't go online on his phone without roaming charges. It's remarkable he was able to keep his spirits up in Canada.
