Warriors vs. Clippers final score: Los Angeles dominates Golden State, 115-89

The Clippers set a franchise-record Saturday, winning a 12th consecutive home game. This time the Warriors were the hapless guests.

USA TODAY Sports

One night removed from beating their in-house rival Lakers for a second time this season, the Los Angeles Clippers were no kinder to their latest guests. Outscoring the Golden State Warriors by 23 points in the first period and adding on from there, the Clippers cruised to a 12th consecutive home victory, a franchise record, 115-89.

To no one's surprise, Chris Paul continued his MVP-esque play for another game. Paul lead the team in scoring with 27 points, with five of the baskets coming from the three-point line. CP3 added nine assists and five rebounds before being pulled from the game when the Clippers clearly locked away the game. Blake Griffin contributed five rebounds and seven assists. As a team, the Clippers shot 52 percent from the floor.

The normally-potent offense of the Warriors fell silent. Klay Thompson was one of two Warriors to score above 10 points in the game. Thompson lead the team with 14. Stephen Curry topped Golden State in assists with five.

The Clippers’ prior home-wins streak was set in 1978-79. Earlier this season, they won 17 games in a row. They are now alone atop the NBA with a 27-8 record.
