When the Red Sox traded Jose Iglesias to the Tigers as part of the deal that brought Jake Peavy over from the White Sox, they knew they were losing an incredible fielder. They might have even recognized the strong possibility that he would be staring back at them from the shortstop position during the American League playoffs. It is probably fair to say they didn't see this coming, however.

Iglesias has made a few incredible plays since he joined the Tigers, but this one, robbing David Ortiz of a pop fly single, has to be near the top. It takes a full sprint just to reach the ball, but it is the wild stab that he uses to pull it in that really sends the jaw southbound.
