Back in the preseason, Buffalo Sabres coach Ron Rolston was actually fined by the league for putting John Scott on the ice late in a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, a move that helped start a massive line brawl.
Mike Milbury wants Sabres coach Ron Rolston fired
NHL analyst Mike Milbury thinks Buffalo Sabres coach Ron Rolston should be fired for playing John Scott on Wednesday night.

If NBC Sports Network analyst Mike Milbury had his way, Rolston would face a far worse punishment for his decision to play Scott on Wednesday night: He would be fired. Scott received a match penalty for his hit on Loui Eriksson of the Boston Bruins.
Here is Milbury screaming for seven minutes about Scott, Rolson, the Sabres and pretty much everything else that happened in Wednesday’s game. What’s amazing is that Milbury was railing on Scott’s presence on the Sabres roster before the game even started.
It is a perfectly legitimate question to ask why Scott was on the ice in that situation. The Sabres were only down by two goals with plenty of time left to mount some sort of a comeback, and Scott, a player who averages less than five minutes of ice-time per game and has one goal in his NHL career, was not going to help that.
Either way, we’ll remember this as the night a large segment of the hockey world agreed with Mike Milbury. We’re through the looking glass here people.
