Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno carried the ball 19 times for 93 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys. Moreno also caught all five of the passes thrown His way by quarterback Peyton Manning for an additional 57 yards.
Knowshon Moreno brings home the bacon for fantasy owners
The Broncos running back got a piece of the action in an all-out shootout in Week 5 against the Cowboys. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: The Broncos offense and their quarterback just can’t be stopped. Moreno was overshadowed by Manning and the Broncos passing game. That said, fantasy owners have to be happy when their starting running back gets over 140 total yards and manages to find the end zone.
So many players on the Broncos are worthy of having a spot on a fantasy roster and in general Moreno is one of those players. The one thing about the Broncos and their running situation is that from a fantasy perspective they don’t really need to run the ball to be effective.
What that means for Moreno's owners is that sometimes though finds he can be hit or miss in terms of his fantasy production. Though he has proven himself to be the workhorse back in the Broncos backfield, there are times when he is spelled by Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball. Fantasy owners should continue to roll with Moreno going forward with the understanding that there will be times when his production is lower.
