How to watch 2013 Breeders’ Cup online and TV schedule

Everything you need to know on how to watch the 2013 Breeders’ Cup online.

Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

The Breeders’ Cup continues on Saturday, with nine events culminating in the Breeders’ Cup Classic, which closes out the day. The Classic is the main attraction here, as the unofficial fourth “major” in the horse racing world. A whopping $5 million purse will be distributed among the jockeys on Saturday, more than all of the Triple Crown races.

The day’s action gets started with Juvenile Fillies at 3:05 p.m. ET on NBC Sports. Television coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. and will run through 8 p.m. before switching from NBC Sports to NBC for coverage of the Classic. That coverage will run from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Both the NBC Sports and NBC portions will be live-streamed and simulcast on NBC Sports Live Extra. The NBC Sports coverage will require the proper cable subscription, but anybody has access to the online coverage of the Classic, as well as all videos of replays and things of that nature following the race.
