2013 Breeders’ Cup odds: Game On Dude favored to win the Classic
We take a look at the odds for the 2013 Breeders’ Cup, and specifically the Breeders’ Classic.

You’ve probably heard of the Breeders’ Cup referred to as the “richest two days in sports,” and that’s for good reason. The Classic itself has a purse of $5 million to be distributed among the jockeys, but every race outside of the Marathon on Friday has a purse of at least $1 million.
Similarly, there’s plenty of money to be made on betting for the various races. You can find odds for each and every race, but the most significant are the Turf and, of course, the Classic. The Fugue is favored at 2/1 odds to take the Turf, with Point of Entry close at 4/1. Full odds can be found at Odds Shark.
Most importantly, we have the Classic. All along, Game On Dude has been favored to win it -- same as last year. However, last year Game On Dude ended up finishing in seventh, well behind that year’s winner, Fort Larned. That horse is third in the odds, behind Mucho Macho Man -- the runner-up last year -- at 4/1.
