VIDEO: San Jose State ties Navy with last-second TD

David Fales completed a touchdown pass and subsequent two-point conversion with no time left on the clock for San Jose State to send their game against Navy into overtime on Friday night.

The San Jose State Spartans and Navy Midshipmen put on quite a show Friday night, and four quarters wasn't enough, thanks to a stunning comeback by the hometown Spartans, sending the game into overtime with a truly last-second touchdown.

Down 38-30, David Fales completed a 10-yard pass to Thomas Tucker to convert a third down, giving the Spartans a first-and-goal at the two-yard line, but there were only three seconds left on the clock. After the ball was set and the clock restarted, San Jose State scrambled to snap the ball before time ran out, then Fales completed a two-yard touchdown to Kyle Nunn in the back corner of the end zone.

San Jose State then converted the two-point conversion to send the game into overtime.

The touchdown was the fourth of the game for Fales, and his second TD pass of the fourth quarter. The two teams combined for over 900 yards of offense in regulation.

Navy ultimately won 58-52 in three overtimes.
