A-League week 5 squad lists

Daniel McBreen headlines the week’s ins and outs while Harry Kewell is set to miss more time with another injury.

Robert Cianflone

The A-League's fifth round begins on Friday night at AAMI Park with the notable absence of Melbourne Heart's Harry Kewell while Youssouf Hersi will miss the game for Western Sydney Wanderers. William Gallas is due to arrive in Perth ahead of the Glory's game in Christchurch against Wellington Phoenix, so he will clearly not yet be a part. Though in Gosford, Daniel McBreen will be available for Graham Arnold's Central Coast Mariners as he comes off of a goal in his final loan appearance with Shanghai SIPG. Emile Heskey, who was supposed to come back last week, should debut in 2013/14 with Newcastle Jets and Alessandro Del Piero, who came on as a second half substitute last week, could get back into Sydney FC's starting XI. Finally, Michael McGlinchey (Mariners), Storm Roux (Mariners) and Kosta Barbarouses (Victory) are already on their way to New Zealand for the All Whites' World Cup qualifying playoff against Mexico. The five Phoenix players in the national side have been spared for this week and will only miss Round 6.
