The Raptors are rumored to desire a first-round pick in exchange for Lowry, who will be a free agent at the end of this season.

Rick Scuteri-USA TODAY SportsLowry is also the largest of the Raptors’ expiring contracts this season, and he’s due to make $6.2 million before becoming an unrestricted free agent in the summer. With Toronto in a rebuild, the opportunity is there for the team to get something in return for the 27-year-old.
Lowry has averaged 14.8 points and 6.7 assists this season and would be a solid addition to a team looking for more backcourt depth. He’s an attractive rental without the long-term cap space issues.
