Stephen Jackson, Clippers agree to contract

Jack is back in the NBA, and this time it’s in Los Angeles.

Don’t worry, NBA fans: Jack is back, and this time it’s in Los Angeles.

Stephen Jackson is reportedly close to signing with the Clippers, whose backcourt has recently been decimated by injury. Los Angeles is currently without both J.J. Redick and Matt Barnes, so the added depth should be helpful, especially in the form of a veteran small forward like Jackson.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s a photo from Jackson’s Instagram account with a few of them:

“One thing about me I never panic bkuz God taught me how to enjoy the bad and good times. It’s easy to...”

Jackson could reportedly join the team before its game against the Celtics on Wednesday, which will be Doc Rivers' first trip back to New England since coaching in Boston. Jack was most recently a member of the San Antonio Spurs, where he was abruptly cut just weeks before the playoffs began due to a disagreement in his role with the team.

He averaged 6.2 points on just 37 percent shooting in 19.5 minutes with the Spurs during the 2012-13 season.
