The Bobcats have been one of the interesting storylines of the young season, but their solid play and excellent defense have been questioned at times given the low quality of the Eastern Conference that surrounds them. But Charlotte dropped Golden State, 115-111, on Monday, and there’s no need to sugarcoat the team’s performance against one of the best offenses in the NBA.
Warriors vs. Bobcats final score: Bobcats hold off Curry, Warriors in 115-111 win
Steph explodes for 43 points, but Kemba Walker goes for 31 in the win as Charlotte continues to impress.

Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson combined for 55 points and the Bobcats survived 43 points from Steph Curry to grab their tenth win. Charlotte remains squarely in the playoff race out East despite their 10-11 record.
It’s been the defense that has grabbed headlines for the Bobcats this year, but they committed just seven turnovers against the Warriors. If you prevent Curry, Klay Thompson (22 points) and Company from getting extra possessions, you’ve got a much better chance. And it doesn’t hurt when Golden State hits just 11 of 37 attempts from beyond the arc.
Ben Gordon and Ramon Sessions combined for 25 points off the bench for Charlotte, and Harrison Barnes and David Lee scored 14 apiece for Golden State.
