The U.S. Olympic committee has sent letters to 35 cities to gauge their interest in hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics. Here are some slogans they can use.


1. Tulsa: “The little town that could, but would rather not.”
2. Houston: “25 lighters on every dresser to light the torch.”
3. Seattle: “The Vancouver you’ve been to.”
4. Sacramento: “Soon to have an empty arena just, like, there for the taking.”
5. Phoenix: “The perfect place for a marathon in the middle of summer.”
6. Atlanta: “Huh? Oh yeah.”
7. New York: “The New York Olympics: Only in New York!”
8. Indianapolis: “Indianapolimpiad! Do you hate us yet?”
9. Boston: “Try our slurs!”
10. St. Louis: “Kind of like East and West Berlin.”
11. Memphis: “Olympic rangs doin’ thangs.”
12. Nashville: “Residents Jack White and Johnny Depp give us the gold in Annoying Pixie Genius Manboying.”
13. Portland: “More like SPORTland!”
