Video of Daytona Nationwide wreck taken from the stands

Saturday’s Nationwide crash was terrifying for those watching at home. A video has been posted from a spectator in the stands showing just how shocking it was.

During the finish Saturday’s DRIVE4COPD 300 Nationwide Series race at Daytona Speedway, a significant wreck saw Kyle Larson’s car flip into the front stretch grandstand. The crash sent debris flying into the crowd, injuring spectators. It was a horrifying and shocking crash for NASCAR fans watching at home, but even more shocking for those who were in the stands. Tyler Andersen was in the stands very nearby to where a tire struck a fan and took the below video, which comes to us via USA Today’s Jeff Gluck.
