College football recruiting 2014: Treon Harris scouting report

Four-star Florida athlete drawing serious in-state interest.

He might not have a definitive position, but Florida athlete Treon Harris is receiving plenty of recruiting interest nonetheless. Harris plays quarterback for Miami’s Booker T. Washington High School, and could be a dual-threat quarterback at the college level. However, he measures just 5’10 tall and weighs only 180 pounds., making Harris a potential wide receiver or defensive back.

Harris has received four-star grades from Rivals, Scout, and 24/7, though each site has a different opinion on where he might play. Scout rates him as the nation’s #13 cornerback, while 24/7 puts Harris at quarterback and Rivals declines any specific position. The consensus four-star recruit has offers from Miami, Florida State, Ole Miss, South Florida, FIU, Central Florida, and Illinois.
