I find these 1940s photographs to be off-the-charts scandalous and only present them to illustrate the depths of depravity to which our predecessors had fallen before the moral enlightenment of latter days cleansed the world of such things. When I pause to think that our national game was used as a prop for such seedy doings, my face goes flush with outrage - as should yours!
