The America East tournament championship game is set, as the No. 2 Vermont Catamounts and the No. 4 Albany Great Danes won their respective semi-final games.
2013 America East Tournament results and bracket: Vermont, Albany advance to finals
The Vermont Catamounts and the Albany Great Danes won their semi-final matchups in the America East conference tournament and will meet in the championship game.


Vermont won the first semi-final game, defeating the No. 6 UMBC Retrievers 85-72. Vermont trailed by as many as eight in the second half, but the Catamounts played their best basketball the final six minutes of the game, outscoring the Retrievers 21-10 over the final stretch.
Vermont received some big minutes from there reserves, as Candon Rusin and Luke Apfeld combined to score 34 points off the bench. Forward Ethan O'Day scored 16 points for the Catamounts, shooting 8-10 from the field.
Albany pulled off an impressive upset in the second game of the tournament, defeating the No. 1 Stony Brook Seawolves 61-59. Ken Pomeroy gave the Seawolves a 70 percent probability of reaching the championship game, and Stony Brook had already beaten Albany twice this season.
Vermont will host Albany in the championship game on Saturday, March 16. The game will tip-off at 11:30 a.m. ET, with coverage on ESPN2.
