Today’s item is a 1959 White Sox spring training media guide, you know, because it’s spring training right now and attempts must be made to seem topical.

This cover raises a bunch of serious questions:

Whatever happened to this logo guy?

How long did he last?

Has he ever been revived? If yes, when? If no, why not?

Why didn’t he last? (After all, the White Sox won their first pennant in 40 years under his happy gaze, so it wasn’t like he brought bad luck.)
