Tampa Bay Championship 2013 scores: Shawn Stefani leads after Round 1

Shawn Stefani leads the Tampa Bay Championship at 6-under par, but the rest of the field is not far behind.

The first round is in the books at the 2013 Tampa Bay Championship, and Shawn Stefani is alone in first at 6-under par, two strokes ahead of the field. Brian Herman is alone in second place at 4-under, followed by Tag Ridings, Brendan Steele, and Harris English at 3-under.

Stefani shot a bogey free round on Thursday at Innisbrook Resort Copperhead course in Palm Harbor, Fla. He had two separate stretches where he birdied three out of five consecutive holes, including his first five holes of the tournament.

Notable scores include Vijay Singh and Geoff Ogilvy at 2-under, Sergio Garcia, Justin Leonard, and Jason Dufner at even-par, and John Daly and Jim Furyk at 1-over par.
