NASCAR turns its attention to Bristol, Tenn. and the Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend, culminating with the Sprint Cup’s fourth race this season, the Food City 500, on Sunday afternoon.
NASCAR Bristol 2013 schedule: Food City 500 set for Sunday
The Sprint Cup’s fourth race of the season runs on St. Patrick’s Day Sunday.

Sunday’s 500-lap race starts at 1 p.m. ET and can be seen on Fox. Before that though, the weekend’s schedule gets going Friday afternoon. Qualifying runs for Sprint Cup drivers begin Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on the SPEED channel. Saturday morning practices -- at 9 a.m. and noon ET -- can also be seen on SPEED before Sunday’s main event.
Last year at Bristol, Brad Keselowski crossed the finish line first, with Matt Kenseth coming in second. Kenseth is fresh off a victory at last weekend’s Kobalt Tools 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and is currently sitting in seventh in the Sprint Cup standings.
Keselowski is second in the standings behind Jimmie Johnson.
In the Nationwide Series, SPEED will air practices on Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. ET. Saturday, Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 300 runs at 2 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN2.
