Vincent Lecavalier injury: Lightning captain has broken bone in foot, according to report
Vincent Lecavalier might have sustained a broken bone in his left foot.

Lecavalier was placed on injured reserve last Thursday with what was believed to be a knee issue. In the Lightning's game against the Florida Panthers on March 12, Lecavalier collided with Florida defenseman Erik Gudbranson, which is believed to have caused the injury.
Cristodero reports that the minor fracture is either near or at the bone bruise the Lecavalier has been playing with since being hit with a shot by teammate Sami Salo on Feb. 2. As of Tuesday morning, the Lightning or Lecavalier have yet to confirm the report and have only referenced the injury as a lower-body issue.
General manager Steve Yzerman has previously stated that Lecavalier could be out for approximately three weeks. He will not be traveling with the team on their upcoming three-game road trip.
